Ms. Elizabeth Fernandes has been working at GEMS Our Own Indian School as a Primary Teacher for eight years now. Being a lifelong learner, she believes that no matter how much you know there is always more to learn.
Elizabeth exhibits a well-developed leadership and team building experience that includes mentorship, coaching and curriculum development. She strives to provide opportunities to all her students to become confident and independent learners. She is passionate about training her team to become integral members focused on improving teaching and learning skills. She was awarded with the teacher of the year award in 2014 and received the 3rd BIG IDEA amazing teacher of the year award in 2015.
