Sajna Santhosh

Head of Assessment and Curriculum 

Sajna Santhosh is a dedicated and self-motivated educator, with strong interpersonal skills. She is a team player and connects at the right level for collaboration. Sajna believes that the ultimate purpose of schooling is to prepare students to lead a fruitful and successful life in society. She shares a good bond with her students. A post graduate in Mathematics with a bachelors’ degree in education, Sajna has experience in teaching in India and UAE. Sajna’s passion for education stems from her firm belief that everyone should have access to high-quality education.

She is a GEMS accredited trainer who has been instrumental in bringing rational changes in the methodology of teaching and learning. She has delivered training sessions through GEMS CPD for the new teachers of her school as well as other GEMS Schools. Sajna represented the UAE in the Microsoft Partners in Learning Forum held in Morocco after winning “The Top Virtual Classroom Projects” held by the PIL forum in the United Arab Emirates. She is a Microsoft Master Trainer and a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator.

A proud recipient of GEMS Core Value Award and The teacher of the year award (twice), Sajna has served OIS as the Head of Department (Mathematics), the Supervisor for Grades 3 & 4 and the Supervisor for Middle School girls. Linking minds and creating possibilities is her way towards excelling in today’s world.
