Inter School Debate Competition

GEMS Our Own Indian School in association with the Consulate General of India celebrated the birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of our nation by hosting the 24^th Annual Inter school debate 2023. The Preliminary Round was held on 11^th September 2023.

This year’s debate witnessed 26 schools with 52 eloquent speakers, across the U.A.E and three esteemed judges on the panel. The topics of the Preliminary Round were:

1. The Explosion of Content on OTT Platforms is Promoting Freedom of Expression.
2. A Global Currency Will Help Stabilize World Economy.
